Hot on the heels of accepting an offer from Crystal Palace for midfielder George Boyd, Peterborough United have now accepted multiple bids for him!

George Boyd v Norwich City

Many Posh fans were waiting for the confirmation yesterday that George Boyd had finally severed connections with the club and signed for his boyhood team Crystal Palace.

No announcement was made which got fans wondering whether the deal had fallen through just as it did in the summer when Ipswich Town tried to sign Boyd.

However, it has since come to light that Posh have now accepted multiple bids from clubs so Boyd can now take his pick of clubs.

It seems that there will not be any back-track this time which means Posh will be without the influential midfielder that has graced London Road for the past seven years.

He has left a lasting impression at Posh and is arguably one of the best players to have played for the club.

Vital Posh will as always bring you the news as it happens.
