Terry Bly – RIP

Today the news filtered through that a Posh legend had died.

The great Terry Bly died yesterday at the age of seventy-three.

The older Posh fans amongst us will recall that Bly was a more than decent forward who made his mark with a staggering 52 goals as Posh stormed to the Fourth Division title in their first season back in 1960/61.

Bly played 88 times for Posh notching 81 times, a feat that will not be matched for many a year, if ever, I`d suggest.

Here at Vital Posh we`d ask you to take a few moments to remember Terry and raise a glass or two to a former Posh player that left his name etched in our record books.
