Transfer listed Posh striker Junior Morias is a wanted man but unfortunately, the League teams that want him don’t want to pay anything for him!!

Posh had agreed a fee with non-league Ebbsfleet but the striker turned the offer down as he wants to stay in the League.

According to Director of Football Barry Fry, League Two sides Crawley Town, Northampton Town and Stevenage had all wanted to take Morias off our hands but they wanted him on a free transfer!

Morias started off like a house on fire last season before suffering a bad injury which kept him out of action for a while. On his return, he struggled to get back into the side and when he did, he failed to reproduce the form he showed at the start of the season.

That early season form shows that he is capable of producing the goods in League One and certainly in League Two but will any League club make a move for him before the transfer window shuts? With Posh seemingly struggling to bring in their striking targets, maybe it’s good news that Morias is still here at the moment! With the way things are at the moment on the transfer front, we’re expecting a frantic last week or two before the transfer window slams shut on 9th August.
