The results are in for the Vital Posh Player of the Season and the Positional Awards for 2017/2018. Who was the Peterborough United Defender of the Season?

Seven defenders were hoping to pick up your votes to win the defender of the season accolade but only three picked up votes!

Youngsters Lewis Freestone and Alex Penny didn’t pick up any votes while captain Jack Baldwin and right-back Liam Shephard also failed to collect any votes. Left-back Andrew Hughes picked up 7.14 % of the votes to finish third meaning it was a battle between two central defenders, the popular veteran Steven Taylor and last seasons Vital Posh Player of the Season Ryan Tafazolli.

One of these players picked up 35.71% of the votes with the other 57.14% but which way round was it?

The winner of the Vital Posh Defender of the Season for 2017/2018 is STEVEN TAYLOR.]
