Was it a foregone conclusion?

After that dynamic free kick was there only ever going to be one winner of our regular man of the match award?

It certainly, on reflection, looked to be so.

Leading the way from start to finish, the accolade as man-of-the-match for the fixture at Hartlepool was none other than Dean Keates who polled 31% of the vote edging out Joe Lewis who received 15% of the vote and Gabriel Zakuani who received 12% of the vote.

Good on you Mr Keates!
