The results are in for the Vital Posh Player of the Season and the Positional Awards for 2017/2018. Who was the Peterborough United Midfielder of the Season?
The results for the top Midfielder were similar to the top Defender in terms of a small number of players received votes, with the others picking up no votes at all.
There were twelve midfielders to choose from but eight of them finished up with less points than the United Kingdom entry in Eurovision! The four midfielders that did pick up votes were, in alphabetical order, Gwion Edwards, Anthony Grant, Danny Lloyd and Marcus Maddison.
Two of those players picked up 7.14% of the votes each leaving the other two to battle it out for top spot. Edwards and Lloyd were the players in question who came joint third so who was the winner out of midfield general Anthony Grant or Magic Marcus Maddison?
