Posh finished off their season with a resounding win over relegated Blackpool but it wasn`t all plain sailing. Who won the final man of the match of the season?
Posh entertained a Blackpool side knowing they would only escape relegation if they beat Posh and their nearest rivals Fleetwood Town lost at home to bottom club Crewe Alexandra.
The Tangerines had the best of a poor first half and went in to the interval one-nil up but collapsed in the second half. Was that because they found out that the Cod Army were winning two-nil at half-time or did Posh step things up?
Whatever it was, Posh hit five unanswered goals including a 12-minute hat-trick for substitute Jon Taylor. A Marcus Maddison penalty and Shaq Coulthirst`s first goal for Posh at home were the other goalscorers.
