Who has won the Vital Posh Man of the Match for the Sky Bet League One match against Leyton Orient? Find out the results.
It wasn`t exactly entertaining, but a win is a win and it was done via another battling display by the boys in blue in swirling, windy conditions.
The O`s had the majority of possession but created very few clear cut chances; the best chance being an effort that came off the thigh of an O`s striker! It would`ve resulted in a deserved equaliser but Ben Alnwick pulled off an outstanding save!
As it was, the match was decided by a fluke of a goal. Jon Taylor looked as if he was crossing the ball but the wind lifted the ball up and over a stranded goalkeeper!
Posh haven`t had much luck this season so it was nice to finally get some and it resulted in win number three out of three for caretaker boss Dave Robertson.
The win moved Posh up one more place to 8th and they are now level on points with Doncaster Rovers who sit in the last play-off place. The O`s remain in trouble in 21st place after another defeat.
