Rate the Peterborough United players in the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match at Blackburn Rovers which is now up and running.
If only this match could`ve finished after the first-half then Posh would be looking at an impressive victory and would still be in with a realistic chance of clinching a place in the play-offs.
Sadly, in the second half, one mistake after another gifted a very strong Blackburn Rovers side all three points and three goals, just as Posh did in the reverse fixture earlier in the season!
A slip by Steven Taylor gifted League One player of the season Bradley Dack the easiest of opportunities to head past Conor O`Malley in goal although O`Malley will be disappointed he didn`t get anything on the ball.
Yet again, some strange substitutions by Posh boss Steve Evans weakened Posh even further when bringing on Jermaine Anderson and Junior Morias but at the end of the day, Posh were beaten by a superior team. Rovers now surely have one foot in the Championship while Posh, although not mathematically out of the play-off hunt, can resign themselves to another season in League One after suffering their third defeat on the bounce.
Posh remain in ninth place and although they are just three points off the play-offs, there are teams above them who have games in hand which could result in Posh being six points from the play-offs with just three matches of the season remaining! Rovers are second in the League, level on points with leaders Wigan Athletic but having played one game more.
