Rate the Peterborough United players in the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match at Bury which is now up and running.
It wasn`t exactly an exciting match but given the state of the pitch is was never going to be. With Bury bottom of League One and with games fast running out, the hosts are battling for their lives and in the second half, were the better side!
What was good to see though was the battling quality shown by Posh which was seen only rarely under former boss Grant McCann. Whether they battle like this every time for Steve Evans, only time will tell but the defence really held strong for this and it paid dividends when the ball fell kindly to Marcus Maddison following a tackle by Chris Forrester. With one touch, Maddison played a ball straight to Jack Marriott who needed one chance to lob to goalkeeper to steal all three points in added time!
The win moved Posh up into the play-off places for the first time since Boxing Day while the Shakers remain rooted to the bottom of League One, nine points from safety with 10 matches remaining.
