Rate the Peterborough United players in the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet EFL League One match at Scunthorpe United which is now up and running.

It was certainly a slightly better performance than in recent weeks but the combination of poor officiating and a lack of concentration costs Posh dearly in this match at Scunthorpe United.

After a first half which lacked spark but did offer promise, Posh took the lead against the run of play six minutes into the second half. Up to that point, it didn`t look as if Posh had returned from the dressing room!

The home side should`ve been reduced to 10-men when Neal Bishop made numerous yellow card offences in the second half but the referee must`ve left his red card at home as he obviously didn`t want to send a player off from the home side!

Partnering Marcus Maddison up front with Jack Marriott just doesn`t seem to be working. We may have to resign ourselves to persevering with Ricky Miller until the transfer window opens in January and move Maddison back to his best and most dangerous position!

Leo Da Silva Lopes was given another opportunity to play in the number 10 position but he didn`t have the impact he had in the second half last Tuesday.

Both Anthony Grant and Steven Taylor played well while captain Jack Baldwin put his recent errors behind him to put in a good performance.

Andrew Hughes was the hero and villain though as he scored the opening goal of the game but then he played a poor back pass which culminated in goalkeeper Jonathan Bond upending striker Simon Church to concede the game winning penalty.

The defeat saw Posh drop down two places to tenth but they do have a game in hand on six of the nine sides directly above them. The Iron leapfrogged Posh into 8th place.

What did you think to the performances of the Posh players and Grant McCann?
