Rate the Peterborough United players in the Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet EFL League One match against Wigan Athletic which is now up and running.

What an incredible match between two of the top sides currently in League One.

Posh showed way too much respect to Wigan in a first-half which the visitors dominated possession-wise without threatening too much.

All the Latics had to show at half-time was a very fortunate deflected shot which sent Posh goalkeeper Jonathan Bond the wrong way!

Posh changed formation when wing-back Gwion Edwards was forced off through injury but that proved to be the catalyst for a second-half come-back.

Within two minutes of the restart, striker Junior Morias had levelled things after an excellent run and cross by Andrew Hughes.

Posh were now in the ascendancy forcing Wigan to bring on a defensive midfielder for the attack-minded midfielder Nick Powell.

Wigan withstood a resurgent Posh side and gradually got a grip of the game again but it wasn`t until the final ten minutes that things really hotted up. With six minutes remaining, Morias hit his second goal of the game from distance but the lead didn`t last long. Within three minutes, the Latics were level from a corner which went right through to the back post where Ryan Colclough was standing. The ball seemingly struck the Latics player without him knowing what happened but the ball ended up in the back of the net.

That equaliser came with three minutes remaining of the match but that wasn`t the end of the scoring. In the final minute of normal time, substitute Anthony Grant played a ball to Jack Marriott who calmly struck the winner.

In truth, this match could`ve ended 6-5 as both sides created some good opportunities especially Posh who had three one-on-one`s!

The win saw Posh leapfrog Wigan to move back into second place with the Latics dropping down to fourth place.
