The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll is now up and running for the Sky Bet League One match between Colchester United and Peterborough United.

Controversy strikes referee Stuart Attwell again

It was another bad day at the office not helped by Lee Tomlin who was making his first appearance in seven matches after finally recovering from the injury picked up at Sunderland. The attacking midfielder was harshly sent off for an incident not seen by the referee but seen the assistant referee standing all the way back beyond the half way line!

No U`s players appealed for a foul let alone a red card office after the U`s player appeared to blatantly block Tomlin run after he laid the ball off.

Posh created a number of clear cut chances which they should`ve buried but failed to take and disaster happened after Tomlin was taking an early bath when poor defending allowed substitute Macauley Bonne, who was celebrating his 18th birthday, a free header to bury the ball in the back of the net!

The win was Colchester`s first in 12 attempts while it was Posh`s second defeat of the season which also saw them drop down to third place.

What did you think to the players performance?

The poll is open until midnight on Friday [1st November]. Results will be announced the following day.
