Posh went in to this game unbeaten in 5 League games while Sunderlands fortunes have changed remarkably since Martin O`Neil took the reigns.

Despite a poor display by Posh, they managed to keep the deficit down to just two goals, with the game finishing 2-0 to the Premiership outfit.

Who was your Posh man of the match though?

To cast your vote for the man of the match against Sunderland, add your vote on the poll down the right hand column of the site.

Results will be announced on Wednesday [11th January, 2012].

I think these votes are distorted by having people simply either voting for themselves, or for their favourites I’m surprised neither Batt nor Rendell have any votes.

Unfortunately, bristleposh, you can’t do anything about people voting for themselves or their favourite player; that can/probably does happen with all polls. You can’t argue with the players out in front though as, imo, they were two of the best Posh performers on the day.
