Results are in for the first Vital Posh Player of the Month for the 2013/2014 Season. Who has won the September poll?
Posh had an excellent September winning three League matches and drawing the other while the only defeat suffered during the month was at Premiership outfit Sunderland.
Two of the wins were against teams who were previously unbeaten in the League. One of these was against MK Dons where Posh ended up with 9 men!
Posh started the month in third place, one point behind Wolves and three points behind Leyton Orient. They finished it in second place, level on points with Wolves but still three points behing the O`s.
Britt Assombalonga is scoring regularly and is just keeping ahead of Lee Tomlin and Tyrone Barnett in the Posh scoring chart.
Last months winner, Britt Assombalonga, dropped down to third after a quarter of the people voting for the striker voted for him in their top three with fellow striker,Tyrone Barnett, retaining second place.
The winner for September received votes from 58.06% of the voters. The top three players for September`s Vital Posh Player of the Month, as voted by you, were:

2nd Place: Tyrone Barnett
1st Place: BOBBY OLEJNIK
