Peterborough United pair Matty Stevens and Sam Cartwright have departed the club on loan.

Striker Matty Stevens has joined nearby Kettering Town on a youth loan for one month. He has been signed initially to cover for the loss of the Poppies Aaron O`Connor.

Stevens is confident he can deliver the goods for the Poppies, just as he has shown during pre-season when playing for Posh, as he tweeted:

Meanwhile, young central defender Sam Cartwright [pictured above], who only turned 17-years-old recently, has joined Leatherhead on a work experience loan for the upcoming season. He will be joining a well known former Posh player at the club who is currently the manager?Jimmy Bullard!
