Peterborough United won their second League match under new boss Steve Evans and make it three wins out of three since Grant McCann was sacked. Who was voted as the man of the match?
This was a completely different performance to that of the first victory under Steve Evans as the muddy pitch made conditions very difficult to play football on the ground.
It showed another side to the squad that is now battling all the way to finish in the play-offs at the end of the season. Admittedly Posh didn`t play very well and for long periods in the second half, basement outfit Bury were much the better side but in the end it was the quality of the front men that made the difference.
When the ball fell kindly to Marcus Maddison following a tackle in the middle of the pitch by Chris Forrester in the 92nd minute, Maddison played the ball first time into the path of Jack Marriott who coolly lobbed the on rushing Shakers goalkeeper to score the only goal of the game.
