Four More Transfers Expected by Posh Imminently

Posh are hoping to conclude the transfers of four more players and had high hopes of doing that by the end of today [Friday, 6th July].

Speaking to Alan Swann of Peterborough Today, Posh Director of Football Barry Fry confirmed he hoped one more player could be coming into Posh with three players departing.

Posh have already sealed the signings of defenders Tyler Denton from Leeds United and Josh Yorwerth from Crawley Town today which must now surely complete the defensive jigsaw? Loanee Denton will challenge for the left-back position while Yorwerth will challenge the likes of Ryan Tafazolli and Rhys Bennett for a place in the middle of the defence.

All the midfield positions look like they’re already filled as well so could we see a striker next to arrive?

The mystery target man is still to come in so could he be next through the door? Posh have already made tentative approaches for players such as Doncaster Rovers John Marquis and Cheltenham Towns Mo Eisa. Posh Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed on Twitter that we are no longer interested in the pair despite suggestions in various media publications that bids from Posh have been rejected by the respective clubs. He has also hinted that we could be after two strikers!
