Front men fire…

A larger than average crowd flowed into London Road for the return of cult hero Sagi Burton and his Shrewsbury side.

United were looking for their first League Two home win since back in August, and it has been their excellent away form which has seen them challenging this season.

Thankfully this monkey was thrown from the players backs as the crowd got behind all 11 and POSH roared to a well earned victory.

Trevor Benjamin scored the first with fellow front man Danny Crow getting on the score sheet with the second before a late consolation for the visitors.

Crow has revealed that he always knew a goal would come and you would hope that he will now set off on the sort of run he managed last season.

The matches don’t get any easier for POSH though, they travel to fellow high flyers Wycombe at the weekend.
