Frys battle cry

POSH supremo Barry Fry has asked fans to put their feelings towards him to one side as his side try and get back into the playoff zone in their two remaining matches.

Orient are in the playoffs, but will still want to put one of their potential opponents in that competition to the sword.

It has been a quiet week at London Road after all of the drama surrounding Steve Bleasdale’s departure and I believe that the team have knuckled down to their difficult run-in.

Vital Quotes:

Must not lose, can’t really afford to draw… This one has the makings of a classic.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Justin Miller is going to be undergoing a hernia operation next week so it looks as though his season is over.

Joe Keith is likely to return but former Cambridge man Shane Tudor isn’t likely to be match fit.

Player to watch: Matt Lockwood

Multi award winning player who Fry tried to sign a number of occasions.

Probably the lower leagues best dead ball specialist.

Peterborough United Team News:

James Quinn (who was thought to be near fitness last week) and skipper Dean Holden are reported to be out for the season, which leaves a bit whole in the POSH midfield and attack.

Other players carrying knocks include David Farrell, Jamie Day and Phil Bolland.

Player to watch: Danny Crow

His two goal salvo against Macc last weekend kept the playoff dream alive for POSH.

More of the same this weekend and he gives his club a real chance.

Match Facts & Stats

It finished 1-1 at London Road earlier in the season. Calum Willock scoring in first half injury time for ‘Boro, before a late equaliser gave the O’s a point.
