Continuing our ongoing series with a look at our right back, Russell Martin.
At six foot Russell Martin cuts an imposing figure, the twenty-two year old joined Posh from Wycombe Wanderers last summer after making eighty-eight starts for his previous club.
Prior to playing for Wycombe, Martin started his career as a trainee at Brighton and Hove Albion.
Spotted by the Peterborough management team he has proven to be a shrewd acquisition starting thirteen League One games this season.
His dependability is probably highlighted by the fact that during those thirteen games he`s only picked up one yellow card, a fine games per card ration for a player that is making the right back slot hi sown and could do for years to come.
