Posh bounce back

Peterborough United bounced back from their recent defeats to Bury, Darlo and Walsall to record a stunning victory at high flying Swindon.

POSH scored the only goal in the third minute of first half stoppage time through Trevor Benjamin, who had spent some time at the Robins last season.

It always seems to happen like that, a player returns to a club and scores, but with Benji still yet to convince on a consistent basis it wasn’t an expected outcome.

POSH had to defend in spells but looked resolute and solid, with new defender Ben Turner helping steady the ship.

As a warm up to the ‘big one’ it couldn’t have gone better.
