Season ends with whimper

Peterborough United couldn’t produce the performance and result need to push Lincoln all the way on a last day which brought the curtain down on another season of disruption and upheaval for POSH.

United created enough chances but Jermaine Easters wonder goal early on was enough to knock the stuffing out of Barry Frys battlers.

Not much else could have upset the ‘boro faithful after recent weeks, but a home defeat and then pouring rain as they streamed out of the stadium will have summed up their feelings.

The local radion phone in was jammed (as usual) with Fry out calls… just like any other week I suppose.
