Vital Posh looks at the latest news coming out of Peterborough United over the past week and also what their rival teams in League One are up to.
PLAY-OFF`s HERE WE COME
Posh finished off the season with a drab goalless draw at home to Port Vale bur there were eight changes made to the starting line-up including a debutant!
Defender Ricardo Santos made his debut at right back and looked comfortable while Jermaine Anderson had arguably his best performance in a senior Posh shirt as he played in central midfield alongside Grant McCann.
The match was meaningless for both sides but with the play-offs looming for Posh, Darren Ferguson didn`t want to take any chances with the players expected to start the first leg.
Posh now entertain Leyton Orient in the Play-Offs with the first leg at London Road on Saturday lunchtime.
The away leg is the following Tuesday but Posh have already sold-out their allocation of tickets!
PLAY-OFF TICKETS ON SALE
Although Posh have sold out their allocation of tickets to the away play-off match, tickets are still on sale for the home match which takes place at 12:15pm on Saturday [10th May].
Over 7,000 tickets have so far been sold ahead of the home match which is ALL TICKET.
Posh fans have purchased over 6,500 tickets for the home match but O`s fans have bought less than half of their 1,775 allocation of tickets so far!
FERGIE WINS MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD
Posh boss Darren Ferguson picked up the League One Manager of the Month award after his Posh side won five of their seven League matches.
Fergie beat fellow managers Nigel Clough (Sheffield United), Kenny Jacket (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Lee Johnson (Oldham Athletic).
LONDON ROAD SNIPPETS
Loanee Lloyd Isgrove has been rewarded for his performances at Posh by being called up to the Wales Under 21 side that faces England on 19th May.
Despite the season being over for Bristol City, striker Tyrone Barnett who has been on-loan there will play no part of the Play-Offs for Posh as his loan deal runs until the end of May!
Striker Jordan Stewart has done well in his trial at Posh but no decision has been made yet over whether he will be offered a contract. Fergie will discuss things with Chairman Darragh MacAnthony before a decision is made on the Glentoran teenager.

Voting is still open to find the April Player of the Month.
Posh won five of their seven matches scoring 13 goals along the way while suffering defeat at the hands of Wolves and Bradford City.

LEAGUE ONE ROUND-UP
With the conclusion of the Football League, teams not involved in the Play-Offs are starting to announce who they will be keeping and who will be leaving. Carlisle United, Crawley Town and Swindon Town are all making big changes with 11 players being released by Carlisle and Crawley. The likes of former Posh players Paul Jones and Sergio Torres are amongst those released by Crawley. Swindon have released 10 players while they released Nile Ranger last week after he was again involved in a non-football related police incident.
Walsall have also released eight players including 17-goal top scorer Craig Westcarr while six players are still negotiating terms with the club. One player who has agreed a deal with the Saddlers is former Posh defender Dean Holden who has accepted a player-coach role. Walsall have just nine players left in their existing squad still under contract!
The final weekend of the season saw people looking at the bottom of the table to see who would join Shrewsbury Town and Stevenage in playing in League Two next season. Notts County got the point they needed but defeats for Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers meant they were the unfortunate teams to be relegated.
At the top of the League, everything was sorted apart from the play-off positions. Posh were already confirmed in sixth place but the other three places could all change and indeed they did. Preston were in pole position to finish in third place but they went down to a shock 2-1 defeat at Crewe Alexandra while both Rotherham and Leyton Orient won their final matches. The Millers and the O`s finished level on 86 points but the O`s vastly superior goal difference meant they finished in third place and would face Posh in the Play-Offs.
