Welcome to the next Posh Weekly as we look at the latest news coming out of Peterborough United, what their rival teams in League One are up to and general footie news.
CAPTAIN JACK BACK ON BOARD
Central defender Jack Baldwin has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract at Posh.
Baldwin was about to enter into the final year of his contract which would normally have resulted in him being placed on the transfer list but Posh boss Grant McCann wanted to retain his services despite his injury record.
McCann`s desire to keep hold of Baldwin was highlighted when the 23-year-old was awarded the captaincy for the forthcoming season.
BOSTWICK IN DEMAND
It comes as no real surprise that transfer listed defender-cum-midfielder Michael Bostwick has plenty of admirers.
A trio of League One sides including MK Dons, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United have already expressed their interest in the player but as yet, Posh have yet to receive an offer to tempt them!
