The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the Sky Bet League One match against Fleetwood Town is now up and running.

Jermaine Anderson v Fleetwood

Posh struggled in the wet conditions but they created enough chances to have buried a battling Fleetwood side.

There were so many frustrating parts to the game. Ben Alnwicks reluctance to release the ball quickly and his determination to pass the ball out to his defence even though they have men marking them! A midfield that often went missing on both flanks when Fleetwood attacked. The inability to hit a cows backside with a banjo!

We could go on but at the end of the day, Posh got the result that mattered. Posh have played much better in the past and lost so we need to be happy that they pulled a result out of the bag when not at their best.

Posh do need to be more clinical in front of goal. We know there are going to be comings and goings in January but can we expect a free-scoring forward to be heading in-bound? With Joe Gormley out injured and Luke James on loan, the best we can expect is a loan signing in the forward department, if at all!!

This match highlighted again how blunt the Posh strikeforce can be. Conor Washington again missed chances that looked easier to score than miss! Lee Angol looks the inexperienced Football League striker he is and as for Souleyment Coulibaly`s first touch, well, what can I say! The good thing about Solley is that he reminds us so much of a young Aaron McLean. His build, his control (or lack of), his heading ability and his knack of being caught offside so often! If he can turn out to be as good as McLean then we have got a good striker on our hands but he needs to learn and learn fast.

The win saw Posh move up 2 places to 10th and just three points from the play-off places. Fleetwood remain in the relegation places and dropped down one place to 22nd.

What did you think to the performances of the Posh players and Graham Westley?
