The draw for the group stage of this seasons Checkatrade Trophy was split in two. We found out last week that Posh had been drawn in a group with newly promoted Luton Town and newly relegated MK Dons.
Today, the final team for each group was revealed. These teams are the Under 21 sides from Premier League of Championship clubs and contained the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
However, Posh have the under 21 side from Brighton and Hove Albion in their group.
The matches will take place during the following week commencing dates:
Matchday 1 – Monday 3rd September 2018
Matchday 2 – Monday 8th October 2018
Matchday 3 – Monday 12th November 2018
