Peterborough United have cut short the loan of left back Matthew Briggs from Fulham.
Left back Matthew Briggs has been on loan at Posh for almost a month. He was due to play his last game for Posh at the weekend when Posh entertain promotion chasing Blackpool.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson had already decided that he wasn’t going to select Briggs for that game so he has returned to Fulham early.
He has played in all 5 Posh matches since his arrival, receiving 1 yellow card in the process. During that run of games, Posh won one, drew one and lost three matches.
