Against an untidy backdrop, Peterborough United take on Macclesfield Town in a match that will be bring back memories of Steve Bleasdales pre-match departure before this fixture last season.

POSH have made a terrific start to the season with two wins and a draw.

Our verdict

On paper this should be a win for the POSH. They have started well and if they could beat the Macc last season when their manager had quit an hour before kick off, they should be able to do it again!

Having said that there are injuries and suspensions but in Simon Yeo POSH have a matchwinner.

Peterborough Utd Team News:

Danny Crow has been ruled out for up to four weeks with ankle ligament damage after being taken off at Wrexham last weekend. Justin Richards has been patiently waiting for his chance to impress and could get his debut tomorrow.

In midfield there is a selection headache for Keith Alexander with Paul Carden and Peter Gain getting back to fitness.

Player to watch: Simon Yeo

Two from his first three matches is a fair return and with Danny Crow absent, Yeo will be key to POSH’s progress this season.

Macclesfield Town Team News:

At this early stage there is very little team news on Macclesfield.

Player to watch: Kyle Jacobs

A new signing from Mansfield, there to bolster the midfield.

Match Facts & Stats
