Vital Posh looks at the form of both Crystal Palace and Peterborough United ahead of the npower Championship clash at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles have drawn four of their last five League games with the latest draw being an impressive 0-0 against promotion hopefuls West Ham United.

Peterborough United suffered a torrid January losing four out of five games in all competitions but lost just once in February.

Posh took the honours on the opening day of the season when coming behind with goals from Grant McCann and David Ball. Palace had taken a first half lead through Sean Scannell.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are unbeaten at home since the opening fixture of 2012 when they went down 2-1 to Leicester City. Since then, they have won two and drawn two games.

Palace have only lost twice at home this season; 1-0 to Middlesbrough in September and then the game against Leicester in January. They have won five games and drawn eight.

From the fifteen home games, they`ve only scored 17 goals while conceding just 10 goals.

Their last home game saw them comfortably win 4-0 against Watford. Zaha, Dikgacoi and two from Martin with the goals.

Top League scorer for the Eagles is split three ways between Jermaine Easter, Glenn Murray and Chris Martin who all have five goals. Wilfried Zaha is one behind on four League goals.

Palace are in 13th place with 44 points from 32 games. They are just nine points behind the play-off places and six points ahead of Posh.

Peterborough United

Posh scored a last gasp equaliser away at basement side Doncaster in their last outing. New million pound recruit Tyrone Barnett scoring in added time on his debut.

That result meant Posh were unbeaten in three out of their four games in February but it also means they still haven`t won on their travels since Boxing Day when they defeated Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

So far this season away from home, Posh have won three, drawn six and lost eight.

Posh have netted 20 times on the road but have conceded 27 goals on the way.

Skipper Grant McCann has been the leading scorer for Posh all season but he has now been caught up by Paul Taylor. They both have 8 League goals this season while Emile Sinclair and Lee Tomlin are just behind them on seven goals. However, new recruit Tyrone Barnett, who scored on his debut for Posh last Saturday, now has 14 League goals!

Posh are currently in 18th place with 38 points from 32 games. Play-offs are probably out of the equation but a finish in the top half of the Championship is easily possible. They are currently fifteen points off the play-offs and ten points from relegation.

Posh have now gone an incredible 107 League games since playing in a goalless draw!!
