Peterborough United left-back Kgosi Ntlhe is set for four months on the sidelines after the results of a scan on his ankle showed a broken bone.
Kgosi travelled down to London on Thursday to get a scan on the injury he sustained last weekend against Sheffield Wednesday when defender Lewis Buxton tackled him.
The scan showed a fractured bone in his ankle meaning the 18-year-old South African will miss the next four months of the season recovering from the injury.
It’ll be a massive blow to both the youngster and Posh as he had made a big impact this season playing at left back and left wing-back.
With Tommy Rowe still out injured, Joe Newell is expected to slot into the left wing-back position.
