Huddersfield v Posh

After coming out on top in a six goal thriller against Crewe Alexandra in midweek, Posh travel to Yorkshire on Saturday to take on Huddersfield Town.

Town, still smarting from a hammering at London Road earlier this season, will be out for revenge and will be looking to derail our promotion hopes.

The Yorkshire side has splashed out this transfer window spending £800,000 on Lionel Ainsworth (from Watford) and Anthony Pilkington (from Stockport) and they`ll be looking for an instant return.

The new signings will bolster an already experienced squad that includes the likes of Phil Jevons, Danny Cadamarteri and Keigan Parker.

However, Huddersfield will have to do without their speedy winger, Gary Roberts, who picked up a red card for dissent last time out, Ian Craney is expected to deputise.

Posh will arrive in Yorkshire boosted by the return of Craig Morgan who has served his one game suspension; his return will probably see Charlie Hill move to left back to replace Danny Blanchett.

Still missing from the squad are the injured trio of Jamie Day, Shane Blackett and Tom Williams. New signing Ben Wright, fresh from non-league football at Hampton and Richmond, may have to be content with a place on the bench.

Huddersfield sit in tenth place in League One with a home record of played fourteen games, won six, lost four and drawn four they`ve scored twenty-one goals conceding eighteen.

Therefore, on paper, it looks as if it could be a tight affair but here in the Vital Posh office, we`re going for a 2-1 win to Posh!
