What were the latest results in the Sky Bet EFL League One and how has it affected the table?

There are still eight teams unbeaten after two matches of the season with six of those having a 100% record so far.

While you may not be too surprised at most of those teams with two wins out of two, the one team that is a surprise is Shrewsbury Town who have won both their League matches one-nil.

Oxford United sit top of the League having scored five goals so far while keeping two clean sheets! Their latest victory was three-nil over the current League Two Champions Portsmouth.

Fleetwood Town (4th) and the Shrews are the other two teams who have kept two clean sheets out of two. The Cod Army had a narrow one-nil win at Nothampton Town on Saturday.

The other three teams who have a 100% record are Posh (2nd) who won four-one at Bristol Rovers, Wigan Athletic (3rd) who thrashed Bury 4-1 and Bradford City (5th) who won one-nil at Gillingham.

There are two other sides who have yet to suffer defeat. Darren Ferguson`s Doncaster Rovers are in seventh place with four points following a comfortable 3-1 victory at former Premier League Champions Blackburn Rovers!

You`ll find the last unbeaten team in League One down in 16th place! Scunthorpe United, who were last season`s front runners for a long time have drawn both their matches so far this season.

Down at the bottom, there are five teams who have yet to pick up a point and two of those are teams who were heavily fancied to win the League One title!

Blackburn Rovers lost three-one at home to Doncaster Rovers and are third from bottom of the League while MK Dons one-nil defeat at Blackpool see them hover one place outside the relegation places.

The other three teams still waiting to pick up a point this season are Bristol Rovers, who lost heavily to Posh and now find themselves bottom of the League, Oldham Athletic who are a place above Rovers after losing to a 90th minute Erhum Oztumer goal for Walsall and the Cobblers who lost to the Cod Army.

The following are the first set of results in League One:

Sky Bet League One
Bristol Rovers 1 4 Peterborough United
AFC Wimbledon 0 1 Shrewsbury Town
Blackburn Rovers 1 3 Doncaster Rovers
Blackpool 1 0 MK Dons
Gillingham 0 1 Bradford City
Northampton Town 0 1 Fleetwood Town
Oxford United 3 0 Portsmouth
Plymouth Argyle 2 0 Charlton Athletic
Rochdale 1 1 Scunthorpe United
Rotherham United 5 0 Southend United
Shrewsbury Town 1 0 Northampton Town
Wigan Athletic 4 1 Bury

It`s still early days so the League table is meaningless although it does look good with Posh sitting in second place!
