Promotion can be achieved tomorrow but I wouldn`t bank on it!

As the big day approaches both managers have given their views on how they perceive it`ll turn out.

First up is Paul Lambert, the Colchester manager is hoping he can thwart Posh and further his own sides ambitions.

Talking to the media, Lambert lamented the corresponding fixture at London Road, spoke about Darren Ferguson and, as the saying goes, threatened to p*ss on our parade commenting,

‘Darren Ferguson has done a great job and not just this season.”

‘It hasn’t been a case of him falling on his feet either as he has assembled a very good side and they deserve to be where they are in the league.”

‘But we will be going all out to win this game. We haven’t had the best record at home this season and it is important to go out on a high into the summer.”

‘I thought we were probably a bit unlucky to lose 2-1 up at London Road earlier in the season, and I’m sure it will be a close game again.”

‘Peterborough know what they have to do, but we are keen to go out there and win this weekend for our own fans.’

Darren Ferguson isn`t quite so vocal but remains calm and assured acknowledging that it probably will not all be finished tomorrow, remarking,

“I’ve had a feeling for a while that it will go right down to the wire and I haven’t changed my mind. We are fully focused on our own game tomorrow.”

‘We know we need to win and we know that it won’t be easy as Colchester are a very good side with a very good manager.”

‘But the lads have been sharp in training and they look in the mood to give a good performance and get another three points. We will have to be at our best to win though.’
