Peterborough United midfielder Jermaine Anderson is facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines!
After spending 8 months of last season out injured with knee ligament damage, 20-year-old Jermaine Anderson has suffered the same injury just weeks into his comeback!
The injury this time is to his other knee though but it means he will again miss the rest of the season as he battles to overcome this latest set-back in his short career.
Prior to his injury last season, Anderson was closely being monitored by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and there was every hope that he could rekindle that interest this season until picking up his latest injury in the first half against Port Vale on Saturday.
Anderson was desperately unlucky to get an injury so soon into his professional career last season and this latest injury could scupper any hope of making it to the top! It could also mean he could end up like Jack Collison and retiring early!
Hopefully this won`t be the case and he can come back stronger and better but time will tell.
