MK can leapfrog Posh later today if they beat their rivals by two or more goals. Posh currently hold the last play-off place but they have been so inconsistent for many months, many Posh fans are expecting their side to be caught at some point prior to the end of the season!
The Dons have won five of their last eight while drawing just once – a goalless draw with Preston North End! Since the start of the year, MK have won two home League matches, drawn two and lost two.
After remaining unbeaten in February, Posh have lost three out of four matches so far this month. Posh have played six League matches away from home since the turn of the year, losing five of them! The only bright spot came in a 2-1 victory at Leyton Orient.
Sky Bet make MK Dons slight favourites to win the match at 7/5 while a Posh win is priced at 19/10. The draw is priced at 23/10.
Despite being favourites to win, it`s Posh`s strike pairing of Britt Assombalonga and Nicky Ajose who are favourites to score the first goal of the match. They are priced at 4/1 while they are evens to score at any time in the match.
Former Posh loanee Izale McLeod and Dean Bowditch are the MK players with the lowest odds to score first in the match at 11/2 while they are 6/4 to score during the 90 minutes.
A 1-1 draw has the lowest odds for the correct score at 5/1 with a 2/1 MK win second lowest at 8/1. The lowest odds for a Posh win is 17/2 for a 1-0 win.
The poll being run by Vital Posh to predict the scoreline has four predictions battling it out for top spot and they are all victories for MK! 3-1 is the current favourite prediction with 2-0, 2-1 and 3-0 close behind.
