The Vital Posh Man of the Match Poll for the EFL Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Blackburn Rovers is now up and running.

Posh came up against an in-form and impressive Blackburn Rovers side and aside from a nightmare 10 minutes just after half-time, they could`ve got something from this match.

Rovers were very clinical when catching Posh on the break and overall, they deserved the win but Posh should take heart with how they played.

It was good to see Chris Forrester back to his best although he did lose confidence after being fouled / being tackled leading up to Rovers second goal. Hopefully he can put that behind him and carry on playing in the way we know he can.

The usual suspects, Grant, Edwards, Maddison and Marriot all played well and, this may be a bit controversial to some, Baldwin also did fairly well at right-back. Okay so he was eventually sent off but in between his two yellow cards, he was strong in the tackle and he got up and down the pitch a lot. He`s not the long-term solution to the right-back / right-wing-back position though.

This fifth defeat out of eleven home League matches is a pretty poor statistic and something that must change if we are to get anywhere near the play-offs.

For now, this defeat saw Posh drop down three places to 10th place although they are still six points away from the play-offs. Rovers moved up to third place and are now just one point away from second placed Shrewsbury Town.

What did you think to the performances of the Posh players and Grant McCann?
