Another patched up Posh side succumbed to defeat in the first round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy. The only positives to really come out of the match was that no one picked up an injury and the excitement brought by new signing Marcus Maddison who capped off his full debut with a deserved goal.

Fellow debutant Luke James also notched a goal but the win for Leyton Orient was a deserved one.
