With Paul Coutts out for a month, the opportunity exists for somebody to push for his place.

One person the Posh support might like to see fill the breach is Dean Keates.

Keates, a mainstay of our promotion side, has been conspicuous by his absence this season having played only once.

However, discussing the player, Darren Ferguson has been keen to indicate that Dean remains very much part of his plans, commenting to the local news hounds,

‘Dean is very much part of my plans. I keep saying it is a squad game now so everyone has a part to play.’

I`ve missed Dean and I hope it goes well for him in the reserve fixture tonight.
