Posh – A Managerial Bohemian Rhapsody!

It seems a right kerfuffle developed yesterday!

Hot on the heels of the appointment of Mark Cooper, news emerged that another candidate had claimed that the Posh owner, Darragh MacAnthony, had offered the job to another of the candidates interviewed.

Apparently, a gentleman by the name of Patrick Fenlon was of the opinion he had been offered the job forcing Darragh to make the following statement to the local media,

‘It’s typical nonsense from every person associated with the job.”

‘He was interviewed and, as I did with all the candidates, we spoke terms so I wouldn’t have to revisit the subject if they were the one I wanted.”

‘Fenlon and others phoned Barry Fry after their interviews to get in front of me again so they could land the job.”

‘But the only person from the six I interviewed who was offered the job was Mark Cooper.’

For those of you who are wondering who exactly Patrick Fenlon is, he`s the guy who has led the Irish club Bohemians to two Irish League titles.

Our concerns are, we now know two of the six candidates interviewed, has anyone any idea who the other four were?
