I`ve still got a hangover but I wouldn`t trade it in for anything in the world.

It`s a lasting continuation of a glorious Saturday that saw Posh promoted for the second season on the trot.

And, if the words of Darragh MacAnthony are anything to go by we`re not finished yet.

After the game, Darragh had this to say about the future,

“We`re not going to rest on our laurels. We`re going up to the Championship with one eye on the Premier League. It can be done. Teams like Hull, Reading and Wigan have shown it in the past.”

“We`re now a Championship club and we`re just one step away from the Premier League.”

“Peterborough in the Championship – it sounds great doesn`t it.?”

“But this squad can only get better. The average age is 23. By the time they`re about 25 they`ll be playing Premier League football, no doubt about it. Our target for getting into the top flight is within three years. I think that`s realistic.”

Blimey, Posh in amongst the really big boys, imagine the size of the hangover that`d bring!
