If Posh ever needed an extra incentive to progress in the FA Cup this season then they need look no further than the income success brings.
Whilst I realised that the latter stages resemble something of a cash cow, albeit a very poor cash-cow compare dot the much heralded Champions League, Posh will be guaranteed a prize fund share of £75,000 if they can play to their full potential and pull of a win against West Bromwich Albion.
Despite the credit crunch hitting everybody hard, this represents a £30,000 increase on last season.
If, and we say this through gritted teeth, we go out on Saturday, there`ll still be £30,000 to chuck into the Posh account.
Anyone know how much is at stake for getting through further rounds?
