Peterborough United duo Paul Taylor and George Boyd have both agreed personal terms and had their medicals at divisional rivals, Ipswich Town.

News emerged yesterday of a bid from Ipswich Town for transfer listed pair George Boyd and Paul Taylor. This bid was accepted. The two want away players travelled to Ipswich today to hold talks, and both managed to agree personal terms. They both completed their medicals this evening ahead of a combined £2 million move for them both.

Posh will undoubtedly have to dip their toes back into the water to replace Taylor and Boyd, if they are serious about Championship survival this season. Posh have been linked with a number of players in the last 24 hours, including moves for Southend winger Ryan Hall, or Stevenage`s Luke Freeman. A move for either Hall or Freeman would solve the winger problem, but Posh still would need another proven goal scorer, and there haven`t been any notable rumours of a move for a striker as of yet.

The transfer of Boyd and Taylor to the Tractor Boys` is expected to be completed and announced tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
