After a run of games whereby we`ve scraped out results but never quite produced the performance that establishes us as a serious contender for automatic promotion, the win (and performance) on Saturday against Stockport County was most welcome.
Speaking after the match and reflecting on events, Darren Ferguson praised his team remarking,
“Our performances haven`t been up to scratch of late but we had a good chat and I just had a good feeling about this game.”
“That was fantastic from the lads. Edgeley Park is a hard place to come to. We showed good discipline.”
Let`s hope that we can show the same form, the same commitment and get the same result in our cup replay against Tranmere on Tuesday night.
