With the media speculating about the future of our manager, Darren Ferguson, with one particular news source also falling foul of Darren`s solicitors, Barry Fry, as we`ve come to expect, hasn`t minced his words with regards to the possible loss of our manager to a higher division club.

Speaking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Fry remarked,

“He`d be an absolute idiot to leave for a side who aren`t in the top flight.”

“Bar Wolves or Birmingham – who are as good as Premier League – there are no other sides worth going to.”

Continuing, Barry goes on to reaffirm the good relationship Darren enjoys with Darragh MacAnthony by remarking,

“No matter where he goes he won`t find a better chairman than Darragh MacAnthony who`s backed him to the hilt.”

“He knows there`s a credit crunch on, and he knows full well that he wouldn`t be supported at other clubs in the way that he is supported here.”

That`s what makes Barry so endearing, he tells it exactly as it is and he speaks the truth!
