Being a goalkeeper has to be one of the hardest jobs in football!

There is no room for error and even the simplest of errors can leave you ridiculed.

On Saturday, when Joe Lewis went off injured, James McKeown took over between the posts and was unfortunate enough to receive criticism from the supporters who believed he was at fault for both Forest goals.

However, the players have viewed events differently and Russell Martin has remarked to the local media,

‘The first goal is a fluke as far as I’m concerned and we let the cross for the second goal into our box to easily.”

‘You could argue that Joe Lewis might have come for the cross, but you don’t know for sure so the blame should be attached to those of us in front of James rather than James himself.”

So there you have it, let`s give this kid a chance and not ruin his confidence.

I seem to remember there were a few who got on Joe Lewis` back last season were there not?
