When Liam Hatch dropped out of the Football League to play for Luton Town in the Blue Square Conference there were several puzzled faces question why!

Obviously Mick Harford had sold the ambition Luton have to the player and many of you may be wondering how Liam is getting on in Bedfordshire.

Unfortunately, he`s not.

Liam remains sidelined with an ankle injury that required surgery.

Amazingly it transpires that the ankle injury comes from an old injury Liam never knew he`d suffered.

It`s believed that Liam broke his ankle some time ago and bit of floating bone, from around the area where the ankle had healed, have been causing the joint to swell up.

Liam is expected to be out for up to six weeks following his operation and here at Vital Posh we`d like to wish him well.
