After losing out to tomorrow`s opponents, West Bromwich Albion, in the chase for the Arsenal starlet Jay Simpson, it appears that Posh have consolidated what options are available to them by taking back Liam Hatch.

Hatch, who had been expected to stay at Darlington on loan for the remainder of the season, has been denied the opportunity to do so.

His recent scoring prowess has seen Posh receive two six figure bids for the striker, both of which have been rejected, who could now feature in Darren Ferguson`s plans for the remainder of the season.

Darlington are, apparently, gutted to lose Liam but life, as they say, goes on!
