After his barn-storming performances of recent weeks, there was probably no more fitting hero to notch the winner on Saturday than Charlie Lee.
Charlie has played in a multitude of positions and never fails to give his all.
Grabbed by a reporter immediately after promotion had been sealed, this is what our hero had to say,
“I am absolutely delighted. I didn`t have a clue what was going on at Milton Keynes.”
“The game finished and a few of the boys came on and said they were 1-0 down but the game was still going on.”
“Then the chanting and shouting started and it was bedlam. But who cares? We`re up and that`s what matters.”
