Our liking for raiding non-league clubs could be put to the test again.

After purchasing Craig Mackail-Smith, Aaron Mclean and George Boyd from non-league football Peterborough have proven to be trail blazers.

The latest non-league target in their sights is the Rushden and Diamonds player, Lee Tomkins

Apparently, Tomkins has trained with Peterborough before with Barry Fry remarking to the local media,

‘Lee has trained with us a couple of times in the past.”

At twenty years of age, could Posh have unearthed another diamond?
